Jhon Locke is known as Father of Liberalism. He is considered one of the first of the British empiricists. He gave social contract theory of origin of the state. He was the first to define the self through continuity of consciousness. He said knowledge is determined only by experience. His famous literary works are following-

2- Two Treatises of Government 

3- An Essay Concerning Human Understanding
