1. Malgudi Days- R. K Narayan.

The stories were written by R. K  Narayan about a fictional South Indian town. The stories present life in different shades around the town Malgudi days.

2. Coraline- Neil Gaiman

The story is about a girl called Coraline who found a alternative world behind the door of her new house. In that world she finds alternate parents with black buttons for eyes. She liked the other world much better but slowly things turn otherwise.

3. How i taught my grandmother to read- Sudha Murthy

It is a fictional story about an old illiterate women named,  Krishtakka. She wanted to read a novel in her own language Kannada. She gave herself a target of reading a Novel within a period of time and achieved it with the help of her granddaughter.

4. The India I love- by Ruskin Bond

This book is about the collections of Nineteen poems and essays. It talks about the simple people and their life. Their goodwill and humour, a tolerance for other's customs, non interference in other's life, friendly reciprocation at all times and philosophical acceptance of hardships, love and affection especially in children.
