The Shylock asks Jessica to shut the doors and windows because he does not want to contaminate his house by noise of revelry coming from the masque and he also wants to protect his peaceful home because there was a sound of  ‘Shallow Foppery’ coming from somewhere. As he also does not want the sounds of drums in his room. He also asked Jessica not to clamber up to the Casements and thrust her head into the street and then he shut the doors. And he watched the christian fools with a Varnished face.
