Dear Grandmother, 

Hope this letter finds you in good health. Hope you are safe from the virus, covid-19. Our family was missing you last night. Because of covid, all social life has stopped. I wanted to tell you something, why we did not ask you to stay with us last month. I couldn't tell you in the last letter as it would have worried you. Mom contracted covid last february. We suspect she might have contracted it when she was shopping for groceries. We all hardly go out and even after taking such extreme precations, this news disheartened us . But thankfully, she only showed mild symptoms and recoverd in hardly 5 days but she was put in a mandatory home isolation for two weeks. We all are safe. We hope you don't take much stress reading upon such news. We all are absolutely fine. Please visit us soon. Give my regards to all.
