Dear Grandad,

Hope this letter finds you and Grandma in good health. All of us here in Canada are missing you both. It was so fun when you visited us last summer. I wanted to invite you to come again this year.

We all are healthy and happy here. My school is really nice and my studies are going well. Mom and Dad were very busy in the last few weeks, so we all decided to go to New York for New years. We booked an airbnb for our visit which was this beautiful apartment in Manhattan which is the center of New York. New York in winters is a vision. We visited the beautiful Empire State Building, The MET museum and the Statue of liberty. We stayed there for a week from 30th December to 5th January. The food in New York is amazing. Even though we are vegetarians, it was not difficult to find vegetarian food. During our visit, we would often go to this restaurant Natraj which served indian cuisine. We would travel on foot to explore the city like a true New Yorker. We also went to see Central Park and the iconic Times Square. Our New years went spectacular in New York. I didn’t want to come home. It was a fun trip. 

I hope you visit us soon and we could all go to New york together. Love you both.
