                      Title- Clean India Drive

The clean India drive was started in 2019 and has reached its second phase in the year 2021. The Clean India drive was started by the name Clean India Mission or Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan by honourable Prime Minister Mr Narendra Modi. The idea behind this was to raise awareness among people regarding solid waste management and its disposal.

As part of this campaign,  sanitation workers also called as safaai mitras come door to door with their trucks. In the truck they play song to urge people to put their garbage in dustbin and dispose it in the garbage disposal truck. The name safaai mitras is also used to raise awareness about behaving respectfully with people who do our menial jobs so that they can perform their duties wisely. Thus, the mission is quiet successful and hopefully will prevent us  from many diseases as cleanliness is linked to good health and hygiene.
