An talk on eye donation was organised by the N.S.S (National Service Scheme) unit of the Shyama Prasad Mukherjee College, Punjabi Bagh, West Delhi-110027. The talk was hosted by the president of the N.S.S (National Service Scheme) unit of the college, Miss Shyamli Das. The guest of the show was one of the leading doctors in West Delhi. The respectable, popular, well known and kind hearted Ophthalmologist, Doctor Ashok Patel.

The talk was organised on 11th July, 2021 wihin the college campus in the Rajiv Gandhi Auditorium. The timing of the show was from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. It was a lively talk event wherein the students from different departments, English Honours, Biology Department, Education Department, Commerce Department and Science Department took part. The students asked their questions and the Doctor tried to pacify their doubts and misconceptions. This talk event educated people on many issues related to eye health. Overall, it was a successful event where students , teachers and staff were encouraged to donate eyes.
