Dear Diary,

Today I witnessed a lot of garbage dumped beside my house. To say I was angry would be an understatement. But I was hurt more as to why people still spill garbage anywhere, let alone beside my own house. Because the MCD cleaners are on strike, the garbage keeps on accumulating in every household. Since we have an empty plot beside our house, people have assumed it as a dumping ground. It stunk for a proper two days until we got it cleared out of our own expense. I have seen people dumping it just by our house and they saw me too but they were just unapologetic about it as if there is nothing wrong in that. I get it that everyone's garbage if increasing, does't mean you have the right to dump it around anyone's house. There are no garbage dumping rules in India as in we should seperate our garbage in categories like recylable, plastic, vegetables, etc. Hope people aware themselves of such knowledge as it would help the cleaners to assort the garbage easily. Even we have garbage accumulating, but Dad takes the garbage and takes it ot the nearest dumping ground and disposes it. It is all happening because the government is not paying the MCD employees, that's why they are on strike. Hope they resolve this issue soon as it is an inconvinience for everyone.
