Trees are planted outside the school by students of clasa eighth D. It is also decided that students will be assigned duties to look after them. Some students are not doing their duties. They are not taking care of the plants. In order to encourage students to participate it is important that we assign equal responsibility to all the children to take care of for the plants.

Each day roll number wise in the zero period students can be allotted duties to water the plants. On day one roll number one should water the plants and take care of it. On day two roll number two will water the plants and so on. If the days are finished let's say if the month is of thirty one days then on day number one of next one roll number thirty two will water the plants.

We can make separates monitors such as plant monitors who will water the plant in case a child who has to water the plants is absent. They will also look at plants each day and record the changes in plant. They will also inform the teacher about the child who has forgotten to water the plants and not taking care of the plants.

The teacher will then talk to such children and give them some negative reinforcement such as on next turn child will have to water the plants on two days and take care of them during zero period and recess.
