KVPY SB Preparation Tip-2 - Manage your Study Time table

Give yourself more than enough time to review the material that was covered in your previous class. Only you know how long it takes you to study, so you are the best judge of when to start studying.

  • If the syllabus of the exam is difficult for you, start studying early. Give yourself enough time to truly grasp the syllabus, practice it and then review it.

  • After reviewing it, take the time to do your revision and consider how much time you might need for each subject.

  • Get a full night's sleep before the exam. Your brain needs time to subconsciously digest everything you've put into it, therefore begin early, you do not have to be compelled to sit up all night.

  • Make a study timetable that fits your way of studying and do not leave anything for the last minute. 

  • While some candidates do seem to thrive on last-minute studying, often this way of partial studying is not the best approach for the exam preparation. Write down how many days do you have for the exam, and, how many concepts or topics you have to learn. Afterward, organize your study habits and time table accordingly.

KVPY SB Preparation Tip-3 - Improve your Revision Techniques

Improving your way of revision is one of the most important tips on how to prepare for KVPY SB. The skills needed to pass examinations are quite totally different from those needed to surpass the coursework-based study. above all, revision skills are very important, however, exploit them typically takes time and a small amount of trial and error, which can mean that you simply get lower marks in one or additional exams than you’d like. Below are some important points which can help you to improve your revision techniques:

  • Be honest with yourself, write down your strengths and weakness.
  • Find the balance between beating yourself up and being indulgent.
  • Don't push yourself so much, if you can sit for study only for 30minutes then take 5min break.
  • You Should not exercise unnecessary that too above your par strength, one should practice as much as possible according to his/her strengths. Pushing yourself in the primary period of preparation may lead to indifference. 
  • Do not depend on textbooks or notes only, there are plenty of other study materials that should try such as previous year question papers, online mock tests, etc.
