From the ideal gas equation,

\mathrm{P V=\sum \cap R T}

On substituting the given values in equation (1) We get,

\mathrm{\begin{aligned} 200 \times 10 & =\left(n_A+n_B\right) \times R \times 1000 \\ 0.5+x & =\frac{2000 \times 10}{R \times 1000} \\ \frac{1}{2}+x & =\frac{2}{R} \\ x & =\frac{2}{R}-\frac{1}{2}=\frac{24-R}{2 R} \end{aligned}}
