             initial velocity of ball =u m/s
             final velocity of ball=v m/s
               as shown in the figure;
              
             mass of object =0.20kg
            initial velocity in vector form=u/\sqrt{2}i+ u/\sqrt{2j}
            final velocity in vector form=-vj
            change in  momentum=P_f-P_i
                                                =(mv_f-mv_i)
                                                 =m(v_f-v_i)
                                                 =0.20\left \{ (-vj)-(u/\sqrt{2}i + u/\sqrt{2 }j)\right \}
                                                 =0.20\left \{ -u/\sqrt{2}i -(v+u/\sqrt{2 })j\right \}
