$F_{c}=mg\ cos\theta-R=\frac{mv^{2}}{r}$

$R=mg\ cos\theta-\frac{mv^{2}}{r}$

R = reaction

F_c= centripetal force

mg = weight

- wherein

$\theta=$ angle of R with centre

v = tangential velocity

$R = mg \cos \theta - \frac{mv^2}{r}$

$R_{max} = mg - \frac{mv^2}{r}$

To loose the contact R = 0

For $v_{max}, R_{max} = 0$

$mg - \frac{mv^2}{r } = 0$

$v_{max} = \sqrt {rg }$
