As we learn

Moving Object & Mirror -

\vec{V_{i}}-\vec{V_{m}}=- \left (\vec{V_{o}}-\vec{V_{m}} \right )

- wherein

\vec{V_{i}}= Velocity of image

\vec{V_{m}}= Velocity of mirror

\vec{V_{o}}= Velocity of object

 \vec{V_{i}}= -2\hat{i}+2\hat{j}

\Rightarrow \vec{V_{i,o}}= \vec{V_{i}}-\vec{V_{o}}=(-2\hat{i}+2\hat{j})-(2\hat{i}+2\hat{j})=-4\hat{i}

\therefore velocity of image w.r.t object is along negative x-axis.
