  2. The angle of incident = angle of reflection

Let N be the image of M (5, 3) with respect to x-axis. Thus N is (5, –3)

Slope of NQ = \frac{-3-4}{5-2}=\frac{-7}{3}

Therefore, the equation QN is

(y-4)=\frac{-7}{3}(x-2)

7x + 3y = 26

Point P is (26/7, 0)
