As we had learnt in 

Oscillation of two - particle system -

T=2\pi \sqrt{\frac{\mu }{K}}

- wherein

where \mu = \frac{m_{1}m_{2}}{m_{1}+m_{2}} is called reduced mass.

K is spring constant

 

M = reduced mass = \frac{m_{1}m_{2}}{m_{1}+m_{2}} = 2\;kg

T = 2\pi\sqrt{\frac{M}{K}} \Rightarrow 2\pi\sqrt{\frac{2}{800}} = \frac{\pi}{10}\;s
