Moment of inertia of a Rod is given as  I=\frac{ML^{2}}{12}

Now take {M}'=0.5M and {L}'=2L

SO, {I}'=\frac{{M}'{L}'^{2}}{12}=\frac{\frac{1}{2}M\ast 4L^{2}}{12}=2I
