Since\mathrm{\overrightarrow{\nabla} \times \overrightarrow{E}=-\frac{\partial \vec{B}}{\partial t}}

\mathrm{d \nabla \rightarrow i \hat{k}}

\mathrm{i \hat{k} \times \overrightarrow{E}=-\frac{\partial \overrightarrow{R}}{\partial t}}

As direction of propagation is along \mathrm{z} axes, \mathrm{E}  must be in \mathrm{\hat{y}}  direction so that
\mathrm{ \hat{z} \times \hat{y}=-\hat{x} }

\mathrm{ i \hat{k} \hat{z} \times \overrightarrow{E} y \hat{y}=-\frac{\partial \overrightarrow{B}}{\partial t} \times \hat{x} }
\mathrm{ \Rightarrow \quad E_y }  and  \mathrm{ B_x } .
