Option: 1

\mathrm{\mathrm{B}(\mathrm{OH})_{3} \text { and } \mathrm{NH}_{3}}

Option: 2

\mathrm{\mathrm{B}_{2} \mathrm{H}_{6} \text { and } \mathrm{NH}_{3}}

Option: 3

\mathrm{\mathrm{B}_{2} \mathrm{H}_{6} \text { and } \mathrm{HN}_{3}}

Option: 4

\mathrm{\mathrm{NH}_{3} \text { and } \mathrm{B}_{2} \mathrm{O}_{3}}

Borazine can be prepared by -

\mathrm{3B_{2}H_{6}+6NH_{3}\overset{200^{\circ }C}{\longrightarrow} 2 B_{3}N_{3}H_{6}(g)+12H_{2}(g)}

Hence, X is \mathrm{B_{2}H_{6}} and Y is \mathrm{NH_{3}}

Hence, the correct answer is Option (2).
