as we know that no of moles in 39g of benzene = given mass of benzene/ molar mass of benzene

                                                                              39/(6*12+1*6) = 39/78 = 0.5

And 6 carbon in benzene so No. of carbon in 0.5 mole of benzene = 6*0.5 = 3
