n (A ∪ B) = n (A) + n (B) – n (A ∩ B)

- wherein

Given A and B be any finite sets. then Number of Elements in union A & B is given by this formula.

 

 

n (A ∪ B)=100=50+n(B)-20\Rightarrown(B)=70

n\left ( A{}'\cup B{}' \right )= n\left ( A\cap B \right ){}'= 150-20=130
