Can you give me an example of a situation explaining how pressure can be inversely proportional to volume? P.S- i know the formula PV=nRT

According to Boyle's law, if the temperature and amount of gas are kept constant, then the pressure exerted by the gas is inversely proportional to the volume of the gas.

P\:\alpha \:\frac{1}{V}

According to this graph, as the pressure increases, volume decreases and vice-versa.
