COMPLEMENT PROPERTY -

 

U′ = φ and φ′ = U

-

 

 

\left ( A\cap B \right ){}'\cup \left ( A\cup B \right ){}'= \left (A'{\cup B{}'} \right )\cup \left ( A{}'\cap B{}' \right )

=\left ( B\cup A \right )\cup \left ( B\cap A \right )= B\cup A= U

since A and B are compliment sets.
