Given,

Now,

\frac{\text { moles of } \mathrm{PhCOOH}}{1}=\frac{\text { Moles of } \mathrm{C}_{6} \mathrm{H}_{4} \mathrm{COOHBr}}{1}

\text { Moles of } \mathrm{C}_{6} \mathrm{H}_{4} \mathrm{COOHBr}=\frac{6.1}{122}=\frac{1}{20} \mathrm{~mol}

Hence,

Mass = molar mass X mole

\text { mass of } \mathrm{C}_{6} \mathrm{H}_{4} \mathrm{COOHBr}=201 \times \frac{1}{20} \mathrm{gm}

Now,

\% \text { yield }=\frac{\text { Actual weight }}{\text { Theoretical weight }} \times 100\% \text { yield }=\frac{7.8}{10.05} \times 100

\% \text { yield }=77.61 \%

Ans = 78
