Find numerically greatest term in the expansion of (2+3 x)^{9},  when  x=\frac{2}{3}.

Option: 1

6th term

Option: 2

5th term

Option: 3

5th term and 6th term

Option: 4

8th term

Answers (1)

Here a = 2 and b = 3x = 2 (As x = 2/3)

So, m=\frac{n+1}{1 + |a/b|} = \frac{10}{1+1} = 5

As m is an integer, so there are two numerically greatest terms

Tm  and Tm + 1  : T5  and T6

Option C is Correct
