Given n(U) =10; n(A)=5; n(B)=3;  n\left ( A\cap B \right )= 2

n(A \cup B)'=?

We know,

n(A \cup B)'=n(U)- n(A \cup B)

And, n(A \cup B) = n(A) =n(B)- n(A\cap B)

\therefore n(A \cup B) = 5+3-2= 6

\therefore n(A \cup B)'=10-6

= 4
