As we learnt in

Intensity of Diffracted light -

I= I_{0}\frac{\sin^{2} \beta }{\beta ^{2}}

- wherein

Where

\beta = \frac{\pi }{\lambda }\left ( b\sin \theta \right )

For diffraction pattern

I= I_{0}\left ( \frac{\sin \phi }{\phi } \right )^{2}Where \phi denotes path difference For principal maxima \phi = 0

Hence \left ( \frac{\sin \phi }{\phi } \right )= 1

Hence intensity remains constant at I_{0}

I= I_{0}(1)= I_{0}

Correct option is . 1

Option 1)

I_{0}

This is the correct option.

Option 2)

I_{0}/2

Option 3)

2I_{0}

This is an incorrect option.

Option 4)

4I_{0}

This is an incorrect option.
