As we have learned

Continuity from Left -

The function f(x) is said to be continuous from left at x = a if 

\lim_{x\rightarrow a^{-}}\:f(x)=f(a)

In (A)\rightarrow LHL and f(1) both are diffrent LHL being 2 and f(1) being 1 

In(B)\rightarrow LHL = f(1)=2

In(C)\rightarrow LHL = f(1)=1

In(D)\rightarrow LHL = f(1)=1
