Charging Of Capacitors -

Q=Q_{0}\left ( 1-e^{\frac{-t}{Rc}} \right )

In R-C circuit (Transient State).

 

 

 In steady state current flows through 4W resistance only and it is i= \frac{10}{(4+1)}= 2amp . Potential difference across 4W resistance is V=2*4=8 volt

Hence, potential difference across each capacitor is 4V

So charge on each capacitor Q = 3 ´ 4 = 12\mu C
