Common ratio r= \left ( \frac{b}{a} \right )^{\frac{1}{n+1}}

where

b\rightarrow last term

a\rightarrow first term

n\rightarrow number of GMs

 

In this Question,

r= \left ( \frac{3125}{5} \right )^{\frac{1}{7+1}}= (625)^{\frac{1}{8}}= \sqrt{5}
