Triangle law of addition -

If two vectors are given by two consecutive sides of a triangle, then the closing side gives sum of these two vectors.

 \overrightarrow{AB}+\overrightarrow{BC}=\overrightarrow{AC}=\vec{a}+\vec{b}\, \, and\, \overrightarrow{CA}=\vec{c}

\Rightarrow \vec{a}+\vec{b}+\vec{c}=\overrightarrow{AC}+\overrightarrow{CA}=\overrightarrow{AC}-\overrightarrow{AC}=\vec{0}
