resultant force is acting at which angle as compared to one of
the vectors.

Suppose

 \\x\hat{i}\ and\ y\hat{j}\text{ are two vectors then their resultant}=x\hat{i}+y\hat{j} \\\text{ and the direction of resultant}=tan^{-1}\frac{y}{x}

Let  the vectors be

\\x\hat{i}\ and\ x\hat{j}

then

The direction of the resultant is

tan^{-1}\frac{x}{x}=tan^{-1}1=45^o\ or\ \frac{\pi}{4}\ rad
