In a simple hydraullic press, cross-sectional area of the two cylinders is 5\times 10^{-4} m^2 and 10^{-2} m^2, respectively. A force of  20 N is applied at the small plunger, then what is the thrust (In N) exerted on the large plunger?

F_{2}=F_{1} \times\left(\frac{A_{2}}{A_{1}}\right)=20 \times \frac{10^{-2}}{5 \times 10^{-4}}=400 \mathrm{N}
