Loss of Energy -

\Delta U=U_{i}-U_{f}=\frac{C_{1}C_{2}}{2\left ( C_{1} +C_{2}\right )}\left ( V_{1}-V_{2} \right )^{2}

By using \Delta U = \frac{C_1C_2}{2(C_1+C_2)}(V_1-V_2)^2;\Delta U= 0.375 J  ;

 

Because the charges are produced due to induction  and moreover the net charge of the condenser should be zero.
