As we have learned

Co-ordinate axes -

There are infinite points in plane we want to identify them by using three mutually perpendicular lines known as co-ordinate axes OX,OY \, and \, OZ

- wherein

let point is (\alpha,\beta,\gamma). Since it lies on X-Y plane so \gamma=0,

\therefore Point is (\alpha, \beta, 0)

Also , \alpha + \beta + 0= 5

\alpha + \beta = 5 \rightarrow (1)

\beta = \alpha + 1\rightarrow (2)

From (1) and (2)

\alpha = 2, \beta=3

\therefore The point is (2,3,0)

\therefore Option C

Option 1)

(3,2,0)

Option 2)

(1,4,0)

Option 3)

(2,3,0)

Option 4)

(0,1,4)
