KCl\cdot MgCl_{2\cdot }6H_{2}O \rightarrow K^{+}Cl^{-}, Mg^{2+}

 

 

Potash alum is a mixed salt of K_2SO_4and Al_2(SO_4)_3and on dissolving, it gives all three ion  and Al^{3+, K^{+}, SO_{4}^{2-}} of which it is made.
