Logarithmic Function -

f\left ( x \right )= \log\: _{a}x

base:a> 0,a\neq 1

domin:x> 0

Range:f\left ( x \right )\in R

- wherein

 

 

Since in f(x)=\log _{a-2}\: x

a-2> 0\: \: and\: \: a-2\neq 1

\Rightarrow a> 0\: \: and\: \: a\neq 3.
