As we have learnt,

As the size of halogen increases from F to Br, the extent of its back bonding with Boron decreases due to ineffective overlap in differently sized orbitals. So the lewis acidic character of the Boron Trihalide increases as the size of the Halogen increases.

Order of increasing acidic charcater of Boron halides 

\mathrm{BF_3 < BCl_3 < BBr_3}

Therefore, option (2) is correct.
