 Option (b) \frac{\pi}{3}

Given that,

\mathrm{ y=cosec^{-1}\frac{2}{\sqrt{3}}}

\mathrm{ cosec\ y=\left (\frac{2}{\sqrt{3}} \right)}

We know that the range of the principal value branch of \mathrm{cosec^{-1}x\: is\: \left ( -\frac{\pi}{2},\frac{\pi}{2} \right )-\left \{ 0 \right \}.}

Thus,

\mathrm{cosec\left ( \frac{\pi}{3} \right )=\frac{2}{\sqrt{3}}

Therefore, the principal value of \mathrm{cosec^{-1}\frac{2}{\sqrt{3}}=\frac{\pi}{3}. }
