Let S and d be the events supply by y and defective respectively.

\therefore Required Probability \mathrm{=P(S / d)}

             \begin{aligned} & =\mathrm{\frac{P(S \cap d)}{P(d)}} \\ \\\mathrm{P(S \cap d)}& =\mathrm{P(S) P(d)} \end{aligned}

                                  \begin{aligned} \\= & 0.3 \times 0.02=0.006 \\ \\\text{P(d)}= & 0.6 \times 0.01+0.3 \times 0.02 +0.1 \times 0.03 \\ \\= & 0.015 \end{aligned}

                          \text{P(S / d)}=\frac{0.006}{0.015}=0.4
