Heat Flow rate is given by 

 \frac{d\theta }{dt} = \frac{KA(\theta _1-\theta )}{x}\Rightarrow \theta _1 - \theta = \frac{x }{KA}\cdot \frac{d\theta }{dt}

or \theta = \theta _1 - \frac{x }{KA}\cdot \left ( \frac{d\theta }{dt} \right )

\theta _1 =  temprature of hot end 

and 

\theta = temprature at distance x from hot end 

\theta \rightarrow x  is a straight line with -ve slope
