Ball A is launched upwards with speed u and falls downwards with speed v_A. It completes its journey to the surface under the effect of gravity.

After reaching the highest point, After reaching the highest point,A comes back to its point of projection with the same speed 'u' in the downward direction

{v_A}^2=u^2+2gh ..............(1)

Ball B starts at a falling speed 'u' and travels a vertical distance of h

{v_B}^2=u^2+2gh ........... (2)

From (1) and (2), we get:

v_B=v_A
