The fixed point of a conic section

y^2+6y+9=4x-2+9

(y+3)^2=4x+7=4(x+\frac{7}{4})

Thus the point vertex is (\frac{-7}{4},-3)

Thus the parabola looks like this  

Thus focus will be (\frac{-7}{4}+1,-3)

=(\frac{-3}{4},-3)
