Einstein's photoelectric equation :

for light of wavelength \lambda

\frac{hc}{\lambda }=W+eV_0

for light of wavelength 3\lambda

\frac{hc}{3\lambda }=W+e\frac{V_0}{6}

So we get W=\frac{hc}{5\lambda }

So \lambda =5\lambda _0
