Transducer -

A device that convert one form of energy into another.

An electrical transducer convert some physical variable (e.g. pressure ) into electrical form.

 

  By defination ,Transducer is a device which converts signals from one form to another . 

A microphone converts voice signals into elctrical 

A loudspeaker converts electrical signals back into voice signals 

An antena converts electrical signal into electromagnetic wave at transmitting end and converts EM waves back into electric signals at receiver end 

However ,An optical fibre is a transmission medium ,Which  lets EM waves through it self .It doesn't alter the form of signals and thus , it is not a tranducer
