Given parabola is 

S : y^2 - 8x = 0

For (5,5)

S_1 : {5}^2 - 8\times 5 = -15 < 0

So it lies inside the parabola

For (8,8)

S_1 : {8}^2 - 8\times 8 = 0

So it lies on the parabola

For (10,10)  

S_1 : {10}^2 - 8\times 10 = 20 > 0

So it lies outside the parabola
