A jar contain a mixture of two liquids A and B in the ratio 4:1. When 10 litres of the mixture is taken out and 10 litres of liquid B is poured into the jar, the ratio becomes 2:3. How many litres of liquid A was contained in the jar?

4x-8/x-2+10 = 2/3

12x-24= 2x-16

10x=8

Or\: let \: A = 16 L

Then \: B = 4L

Total = 20 L

Now\: 10 L\: taken \: out = \frac{1}{2}\times 16

10 \: L \: remaining\: milk = 8 \: L \: taken

Water = 45/2 = 2L taken

Final = 8\: L\: milk

                 = 2L water
