Time is taken by Second's hand to cover 300 degrees = 300/360 = 5/6 Minute

In 5/6 Minute, Minute Hand cover = 6 x 5/6 => 5 degree

We know that,

Second hand covers,

1sec-6°

?-300°.         300/6=50 sec,convert sec into minute 50/60=5/6 min.

Minute hand covers,

1min-6°

5/6min=6°*5/6=5°

Hence,the correct answer is 5°
