A secular provision in the CrPC called Section 125 offers those who are unable to support themselves with a legal remedy. It can be used against someone who has the money to support them but neglects or refuses to do so by the wife, small children, or even the parents.

Through a number of judicial interpretations throughout time, Section 125's purview has been widened. As made clear by numerous court rulings that recognised the rights of women in live-in relationships under specific circumstances, it is not limited to partners who are officially married. Option A is inaccurate as a result.

Although the clause does include provisions for minor children's support, it is not just about them.  B is the incorrect answer. hence D is the correct option
