Test of Divisibility -

Divisible by 2: if and only if the last digit is even.

For Example: 172 is divisible by 2 but 171 is not.

 

Divisible by 3: if and only if the sum of all the digits is divisibly by 3.

For example: 57 is divisible by 3, as sum of all the digits of 57 is 12 again the sum of all digits of 12 is 3 which is divisible by 3.

159702 is divisible by 2 as the last digits, i.e., 2 is divisible by 2.

159702 is divisible by 3 as the sum of its digits, i.e., 7 + 9 + 8 + 5 + 1 = 30 is divisible by 3.

Hence it is divisible by 6
